I created my first interactive Powerpoint in 2002. In those days I was attending ICT for ELT at the teaching training college and the task was to create an interactive presentation in pairs. Since then I created different presentations and improved their quality. I learnt how to insert audios, videos and hiperlinks.
This time I want to share a PPT I created for a group of students aged 10 who were reading about amazing adaptations. The way the information was presented in the textbook was not appealing so I thought they could learn more about those animals and some others.
The presentation starts with information about chamaleons, sloths and giant anteaters. While reading about these animals, students will complete a graphic organizer. Then they will visit Oakland Zoo website and select 2 animals they want to learn about and complete the chart.
